The Small Volume Prover (SVP) controller provides significantly improved real-time monitoring and operational control for a more accurate, reliable, and faster test cycle. The driver represents a significant improvement to the performance of all existing and new SVPs with their advanced and intuitive features and greater accuracy.
What is it?
Advanced capabilities for greater control over test cycles
The SVP controller provides a unique solution for better visibility and control of any test operation. This easy-to-use replacement for all existing control modules and new testers provides operators with the most advanced capabilities available: data storage and manipulation, sophisticated alarm functions, simpler service and system diagnostics. It also controls the water extraction operation when necessary.
With an inherently safe design, the SVP controller is approved by ATEX and CSA to meet the extreme requirements of installation in hazardous locations.
How does it work?
The 3.5-inch, six-line, easy-to-read display provides instant visibility of all critical data on the standard display, including piston position, engine status, error status, cycle value, date Test and sweep time. Using the local access device (LAD) for manual control provides complete access to programming and other system information through a menu-based procedure. An on-screen cycle counter allows users to view the number of cycles and can provide a user-determined preventive maintenance service alarm.
The display of the scan time in seconds with repeatability in milliseconds provides a highly accurate visual reading of the time it takes for the piston to move between the upstream and downstream optical switches vital for pulse generation calculations and test repeatability.
What problems does it solve?
For the first time, the Honeywell Enraf Small Volume Prover (SVP) controller allows users to visually monitor and control the tester’s operation in real time on a clear LCD for optimum performance.
