What is it?
Optilevel provides a solution without moving parts. It measures the level, temperature and water interface of small tanks. With a maximum length of 6 meters, Optilevel is used in barges and river tanks, but can also control the level of fuel and oil in service tanks on all types of vessels. It has marine approval and is resistant to corrosion.
How does it work?
There is a common control box for up to eight sensors that is installed in the safe zone. The sensor is installed in the top of the tank in Zone 0. The measuring bar is composed of two coaxial stainless steel tubes, divided into several sections. Each section is a capacitive sensor that provides level information with high accuracy. The bottom of the tube can also measure the water interface. A temperature sensor is also installed inside the center tube. The position of the temperature sensor can also be freely selected. The measuring height can also be set according to user requirements.
What problems does it solve?
Optilevel offers a cost-effective solution for measuring the level, temperature and water interface of small tanks. On barges, it is particularly useful for monitoring the loading of cargo tanks. In service tanks, it helps to monitor fuel consumption and other fluids, and to detect the bottom of the water.
